Today: Udall To Press For Secure Elections In Rules Committee Hearing

Udall, lead sponsor of For the People Act, will question EAC commissioners on measures to secure voting systems, defend democracy

WASHINGTON – Today, Wednesday, May 15 at approximately 3:30 p.m. ET / 1:30 p.m. MT, U.S. Senator Tom Udall will question members of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) on measures to secure our voting systems and defend our democracy during an oversight hearing of the Senate Committee on Rules and Administration. During the hearing, Udall plans to discuss his legislation, the For the People Act, which would help ensure the integrity of our elections, along with other measures that can be taken fortify election security.
