High School Graduation Rates up 10 Percent since 2011
Santa Fe, NM – On Friday, Governor Susana Martinez announced that more students are graduating high school than ever before. The 2018 class set a new all-time high graduation rate of 73 percent – up 10 percent since Governor Martinez took office in 2011 and up 2 percent from last year. This is the highest graduation rate in the state’s history.

State Crime Lab Will Begin Testing Albuquerque Crime Lab Kits
Santa Fe, NM – Governor Susana Martinez has announced that the State Crime Lab has cleared a backlog of 1,388 sexual assault evidence kits (SAEK) for New Mexico law enforcement agencies. The Governor also announced that the agency will soon begin to process SAEKs for the Albuquerque crime lab to help tackle their backlog.
