The evening of Sunday, Nov. 1, went very wrong for one 8-year-old boy (Name of the juvenile victim withheld according to Valley Daily Post editorial policy) living in the Avenida Canada Apartment complex on the east side of Española. At approximately 9:20 p.m. an argument between his mother and another woman escalated to a shooting which wounded the boy in the shoulder.
