U.S. Senator Tom Udall (D-N.M.), vice chairman of the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs, joined Committee Chairman John Hoeven (R-N.D.) in leading a business meeting to consider two bills, the Udall-sponsored BADGES for Native Communities Act and the Udall-sponsored Health Care Access for Urban Native Veterans Act of 2019. Both bills passed the committee unanimously.

WASHINGTON — TODAY, Tuesday, January 29, at 12:30 p.m. MT / 2:30 p.m. ET, U.S. Senator Tom Udall (D-N.M.), vice chairman of the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs, will join Chairman John Hoeven (R-N.D.) in leading the committee’s organizational meeting for the 116th Congress followed by the committee’s first business meeting of the year.  The Indian Affairs Committee will consider 12 bills during the business meeting.
