Rio Arriba County Winter Storm Warning until 8:00PM Sunday

Snow showers will increase over the northern mountains today as a winter storm system approaches from the west. Snow will increase in coverage tonight and become steadier Sunday morning. The greatest accumulations are expected over Rio Arriba County where 6 to 12″ is likely. Blowing snow will also occur in the higher terrain with low visibility and much colder temperatures Sunday afternoon. Courtesy of the NWS.

18th Annual Walk Against Drugs Saturday At 7:30AM

This event is sponsored by various law enforcement agencies, punitive measures are restricted during the walk. Non-addicts, recovering-addicts and many whom never used drugs or consumed alcohol, check in and prepare for an estimated 5 mile walk.
