Last Day To Submit Public Comment On BLM Oil And Gas Leases

Tewa Women United has joined Wild Earth Guardians in this call to action:

There is only one day left to submit protest comments to NM Bureau of Land Management (BLM) opposing the March 2019 oil and gas lease sale. If you haven’t already, please participate in this letter writing campaign and share it on social media. Please complete and submit your letter by 5 pm, Tuesday, 2/19.

SANTA FE, NM – For Fiscal Year 2020, Commissioner Stephanie Garcia Richard has requested additional budget appropriations for four new district resource managers tasked with overseeing oil and gas activity in the Permian Basin and resources to establish the Office of Renewable Energy.
