Distinctive members of the New Mexico legislature have endorsed U.S. Senate Candidate, Maggie Toulouse Oliver. Representatives Patricia Roybal-Caballero, Day Hochman-Vigil, Debbie Sariñana, Natalie Figueroa, Joy Garratt, Joanne Ferrary, Angelica Rubio, and Christine Trujillo have all personally endorsed present Secretary of State Toulouse Oliver in her candidacy to become New Mexico’s first female Senator.

House Democrats Stand up to President Trump’s Attempts to Push Anti-Immigrant Agenda

Santa Fe, NM– On Aug. 24, 15 NM House Democrats, along with Representatives from the Texas House of Representatives, sent a letter to White House officials that reaffirms their commitment to immigration reform. On Monday, August 20th, state Representatives received a letter from the White House asking legislators across the country to support President Trump’s anti-immigrant sentiments. While these Representatives agree that law enforcement officers should be recognized for their public service, they quickly became aware of the anti-immigration attitudes within the letter and came together to craft a response.
