Food 4 Kids NM tackles new school year

With the new school year underway, Guru Simran Kaur Khalsa and other volunteers are gearing up again for their mission to help feed Northern New Mexico’s hungry children through the Food 4 Kids program. Starting the week after Labor Day, more than 500 children will go home on Fridays with a bag of food to help them get through the weekend – provided Khalsa can raise $6,500 to $6,800 to keep the program running.
