Attorney General Balderas announces Indictment of Marvin Archuleta for Rape and Restraint of a 6-year-old boy

Albuquerque, NM – Thursday afternoon, a Santa Fe grand jury returned an indictment against Marvin Archuleta, a former Catholic priest at Holy Cross Church in Santa Cruz, New Mexico in the 1970s and 1980s, finding probable cause to believe Archuleta committed two first-degree felonies, criminal sexual penetration of a child under thirteen and kidnapping.

AG Balderas Secures Conviction of Ex-Teacher who Sexually Assaulted Multiple Students in Rio Arriba County

Santa Fe, NM – On Wednesday, Attorney General Hector Balderas successfully secured the conviction of Gary Gregor, former teacher in the Española School District, for his sexual assault of multiple 4th grade students during the 2007-2008 school year at Fairview Elementary School. A jury of Gregor’s peers found him guilty of 3 counts of 1st-Degree Felony Criminal Sexual Penetration, 5 counts of 1st-Degree Kidnapping, and 4 counts of 1st-Degree Criminal Sexual Contact.
