Udall, Haaland Introduce ANTIQUITIES Act To Protect America’s National Monuments From Unlawful Attacks

Bill, co-sponsored by more than 100 members of Congress, reinforces that only Congress can alter national monuments

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Sen. Tom Udall (D-N.M.) and U.S. Rep. Deb Haaland (D-N.M.), along with U.S. Representatives Ben Ray Luján (D-N.M.) and Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.), led a group of more than 100 Democratic Members of Congress in re-introducing legislation to protect America’s treasured national monuments against the Trump administration’s relentless attacks on public lands.
