Espanola's "Tone" Martinez Wins, FS1 Broadcasts

Pojoaque - Photo shows Espanola's Antonio "Tone" Martinez,6-2, with both his hands and arms in the air with the referee holding up Martinez's left arm claiming his 6th professional victory. Area boxing fans were instrumental in selling out the 10th consecutive boxing card at the Buffalo Thunder Resort and Casino Tuesday night. Boxers: Holmes of Santa Fe, McClain of Rio Rancho, Aaron Martinez of Santo Domingo Pueblo, were also victorious Tuesday night. The card was presented by Premier Boxing, Warriors Boxing Promotions, Holmes Boxing as the popular "TOE-TO-TOE TUESDAYS" which was televised, in part, by FOX Sports 1.
However, one disappointed boxing fan, who asked that her name not be used told the Valley Daily Post on Friday, September 30, that FSI did not feature the northern boxers in its national telecast. Only McClain of Rio Rancho was featured by FSI. The irate fan said that the local boxers should have been shown because it's their fans whom has sold out the Buffalo Thunder boxing venue 10 times in a row. She has a point.
