Santa Fe County Wins Big in Pound-for-Pound Fight Against Hunger – 654 Pounds Collected

Santa Fe County won the "Business" category in the 7th Annual Neighbor to Neighbor Food Drive benefiting The Food Depot for collecting the most food, 654 pounds.

A big "Thank you" to County staff and community members for your participation and help in stamping out hunger.

“It was so exciting to see the yellow barrels overflowing with items and the abundance of food that was collected in Santa Fe County,” said Lucy Foma, Community Planner with Santa Fe County.

Hunger is a growing crisis in Northern New Mexico. It is often hidden, but it affects one of every six people and one of every four children in our state.
