Pets Of The Week

ESPAÑOLA — Each week the Valley Daily Post features a few pets that are ready for adoption. Take a look at this week’s highlighted pets and then drop by the shelter to see the whole selection.

This shy girl Shyla is learning to trust and has a lot of potential! No kids under 10, as she gets nervous around some people. Shyla is about 2 years old and was surrendered by her owners. They did not have time for her. She will need an experienced owner who has time or social dog at home to show her the ropes. Shyla is kenneled with other dog here at the shelter and is doing well. Using treats and toys and lots of love will help her grow into the gorgeous girl she is.

Rosemary is looking for a home with friends willing to be an advocate for her breed! She is 7 months old and brought in as a stray by Animal Control. She is great with other dogs and has been kenneled with other dogs here at the shelter. She will need an active family, who she can go out on a run or bike ride with. She is great on a leash and walks by your side. Stop by the shelter and meet this sweet girl.
