Pets Of The Week

ESPAÑOLA — Each week the Valley Daily Post features a few pets that are ready for adoption. Take a look at this week’s highlighted pets and then drop by the shelter to see the whole selection.

Queenie is a 3-year-old heeler/pit bull mix who was surrendered with her 4-week-old puppies. She is done nursing and would love a home and family who will love and cherish her. She is great with people and would be a loyal family member if given a chance. She would be a great running partner or a laid-back fishing partner, as long as she could be with her people. If you have any dogs it would be best for a meet and greet. Her pups are still being housed with her so she can be a little touchy if another dog passes by.

Phoebe is a sweet, playful girl. She came in as a stray. She is about 1 year old and is spayed and ready to go home. Her dream family would be a family that takes her on long leash walks so she can take in all the new blooming scents in the air. Plus she would like a hiking buddy but also a cuddle buddy. She is a lovely lady who is great with people and would like to meet your pets to make sure they get along. But we think siblings would be great for her. Stop by the shelter to meet her.
