Meow Wolf: People Should Be Paid For Work – Federal Workers Welcome Free Through Shutdown

SANTA FE — Meow Wolf welcomes all federal employees to visit the award-winning House Of Eternal Return immersive narrative exhibition in Santa Fe for free through the duration of the United States government shutdown.

A photo ID or badge from any federal agency is all that is required for admission.
“Meow Wolf is founded on the principle that all hard-working people who make a positive difference should be rightly paid for their efforts,” CEO Vince Kadlubek said. “We feel for our federal workers in this predicament and offer a small gesture of appreciation during an extremely stressful time for them, their families and those they do business with. We also strongly encourage other businesses around New Mexico and the U.S. to join us in this offer.”
“People shouldn't underestimate the importance of a properly functioning government,” Kadlubek said. “These are the highly-skilled professionals who protect our food, air and water. They defend our borders, coasts and airways. They prevent disease and research cures. They look after education, commerce and our veterans. They maintain our national parks, monuments, historic sites and wildlife areas—and they curate and run many of our most important cultural institutions and treasures. We expect elected officials to provide Americans with the services we deserve and to put these good working people back on the payroll immediately.”
In December Meow Wolf announced a huge new permanent installation in Washington, D.C. that will open in 2022.
