Española Public Library Is Bustling This Week

Enjoy Coffee with a Cop, crafts, story hour and a movie this week at the Española Public Library, 313 N Paseo de Oñate, 505-747-6087. Some events require sign up, but all are free.

Coffee with a Cop
9:30 – 10:45 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2019
Coffee with a Cop is a national program with no agenda or speeches. Th event is an opportunity to ask questions, voice concerns and get to know the officers and neighbors in your community. Española Public is offering two opportunities to join the conversation and enjoy a cup of coffee with our local Police Department.

Plant A Flower Day
3:30 – 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2019
Spring is just around the corner, and March 12th is the day to participate in National Plant a Flower Day. Each year this day is dedicated to the planting of flowers and looking forward to the spring season. Flower gardening has become a hobby for many, young and old, and National Plant a Flower Day is a start to the new season each year.

3:30 – 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2019
Free Craft for All Ages. Join Valerie for a fun craft and a Pot of Gold

Story Hour
10 – 11 a.m. Thursday, March 14, 2019
Join Tammy as she will read "Ben Bear's Pot of Gold" and after story time all kids will make a St. Patrick's Day Foam Bracelet.

Family Movie Night
5 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2019
Family Movie Night is the third Friday of every month. We will be showing "Green Book" Plot: Bouncer Tony Lip is hired by African-American Don Shirley to chauffeur him around the Jim Crow South in 1962 for an eight-week concert tour. The mismatched men from a friendship as Tony learns firsthand the racism Don must endure to perform. Based on a True  Story.Free popcorn.
