ESPAÑOLA — Each week the Valley Daily Post features a few pets that are ready for adoption.  The Española shelter had a succesful annual Kitten Fest last weekend in Santa Fe, where their mobile adoptions coordinator adopted out 67 cats and kittens in two days!

Obituary: Maria D. Cordova, age 82 a resident of Chamisal formerly of Kearns, Utah went into the presence of her Lord on July 21, 2015. She was born in Chamisal, NM on August of 1932 to Gabrielita and Agapito Vasquez.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Alberto Romero, her second husband Fidolino Cordova, and her grandson Alfred James Gallegos.
