Chamber of Commerce hosts Saturday events

The Española Valley Chamber of Commerce hosts several events Saturday.

Exercise with a Vet

Get your health on at the beautiful Convento Park every Friday and Saturday mornings from 8 – 9 a.m. for a low to medium intensity workout followed by a low intense cool down walk around the downtown area. Hosted by the VFW Post 5610 Hill-Vigil Post and Christopher Archuleta who wants the entire community to come out and enjoy the great outdoors and sweat with a vet.

We have a such a beautiful park and setting to have more outdoor activities and teaming with the Española Chamber of Commerce we can now do some more amazing things.

This is our opportunity to reach out to the community and help us all stay in shape and meet veterans of our community.

Entire families are encouraged to join.

Walk With A Doc

Every Saturday morning join us at the Convento Lawn for "Walk With A Doc" with Dr. Jessyca Chavez from the Healing House.

“It is my aim for our client/patients to experience elevated comfort in a medical setting so that we can work toward radiant health using the science of nature and our body’s biologic rhythm and wisdom,” Chavez said. “We are preventative focused and care for our patient/clients with an individualized approach.

“I consider myself a health-based lifestyle designer, with a doctorate in natural medicine and a very comprehensive background in anatomy, physiology and Western medicine I have a full appreciation and spectrum of knowledge for the biochemistry and metabolism of the human body.

“I aim to find the “sweet spot” in our client/patient lives where balance is calculated with educated decision, and a little intuition.  I think there is a theory to everything we do in our lives that needs to be individualized and evaluated so I invite client/patients to come experience radiant health through nature and science in balance.”
