School Board Officials Study National Best Practices

Staff Report

Local education officials and school board members attended the annual National School Board Association conference in Boston, Massachusetts this past week.

School Board members from around the nation convene at this once-a-year event to discuss education policy and best practices for local school districts.

This year’s conference dealt with many issues including envisioning how unify stakeholders in the state to create a unified vision on how to educate every child to their fullest potential.

Of special note for the Pojoaque School District, John Paul Romero, the President of the Pojoaque Valley School Board was elected Treasurer for the National Hispanic Caucus of School Board members.
