Saturday, May 11 in Albuquerque, U.S. Senator Tom Udall will hold a forum on the For The People Act, his landmark legislation to reform democracy, and kick off a NAMIWalks (National Alliance on Mental Illness) 5K community walk event to raise awareness of mental illness.
At 9 a.m., Udall will join forces with NAMIWalks to kick off a 5K community walk in Albuquerque to raise awareness of mental illness.
At 10 a.m., Udall will hold a forum on the For The People Act, where he will discuss his efforts to enact badly needed pro-democracy reforms that will fight corruption, fix our broken politics, and make government work for all Americans. During the forum, Udall will moderate a panel discussion on ending the dominance of big money in politics and ensuring access to the ballot box.
