Santa Fe County Invites Input On Infrastructure Capital Improvement Plan (ICIP)

Community invited to attend public hearing

SANTA FE, NM – The Santa Fe County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) will conduct a public hearing to review the draft Infrastructure Capital Improvement Plan (ICIP) projects list, choose the County’s top five projects, and adopt the 2021-2025 ICIP by resolution on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 after 2:00 p.m. in the BCC Chambers at 102 Grant Ave, Santa Fe, NM.

The County annually submits the ICIP to the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration, which then compiles a statewide list of capital project funding requests for consideration at the following year’s legislative session. The ICIP is due by September 6, 2019.

In June and July, staff held five community meetings throughout the County to solicit capital project requests from County residents. Santa Fe County is currently transitioning to a new capital planning methodology adopted by Resolution 2019-103, and staff made every effort to follow this methodology in an expedited time frame to compile the draft ICIP.
