Register For NCAI’s Upcoming Policy And Food Sovereignty Symposiums

NCAI’s Tribal Food Sovereignty Advancement Initiative (TFSAI) will be hosting its Policy and Food Sovereignty Symposiums during this month. These two-day symposiums are facilitated workshops set to engage tribal leaders, Native food producers, tribal advocates, and tribal program staff in a constructive dialogue about how the federal government can strengthen policy to empower the food sovereignty and production efforts of tribal nations, organizations, and individual Native food producers.

The remaining TFSAI policy symposiums will be held at the following dates and times:

Land Policy and Food Sovereignty:

June 11-12, 2020

1:00 to 4:00 p.m. EDT (each day)

To register, click here.

Climate Action Policy and Food Sovereignty:

June 25-26, 2020

1:00 to 4:00 p.m. EDT (each day)

To register, click here.

The perspectives shared by attendees will be synthesized into a series of policy reports that NCAI will produce and release later this year. We invite you to join these important national discussions and look forward to your participation!

Note: Registration is limited to 50 participants for each symposium and will processed on a first-come, first-served basis until all available slots are filled. Please only register if you are able to attend the symposiums in their entirety, as much of these events will consist of small-group work that depends on full attendance.
