Pojoaque School Board Election Results
Staff Report
Candidates for the Pojoaque Public Schools School Board had a long wait for the final results of Tuesday’s elections as the Santa Fe County clerk made an error in early results and did not post preliminary results until 10:15 p.m.
In the end, there was a very close election as Position 5 incumbent Sharon A. Dogruel, also known as “Mrs. D” to former students, appears to have squeaked out a narrow victory of 316-303 over first-time candidate Jerome Lujan.
In other Pojoaque election news, Position 4 incumbent was unchallenged and will begin a third term, and district voters approved a GO Bond.
See below for the unofficial results of all Pojoaque district races:
Position 4
Jon Paul Romero: 388
Position 5
Sharon A. Dogruel: 316
Jerome P. Lujan: 303
