Pets Of The Week
ESPAÑOLA — Each week the Valley Daily Post features a few pets that are ready for adoption. Take a look at this week’s highlighted pets and then drop by the shelter to see the whole selection.
Sadie was found scared and abandoned in a mountain far away from any sign of civilization. A nice man was able to catch her and bring her to our care. We’ve placed her in foster care for a few weeks and she’s gained some confidence and some weight both of which she desperately needed. She does better in the presence of other friendly dogs. All she wants is a home that is patient and gentle like she is. She still needs more training around people, so no children under 12 years old would be best. Sadie is about 11 months old. Stop by and meet her today.
Ella is a darling girl looking for a job to do. She would be an excellent ranch-hand to a family looking for some canine company while getting work done. She wants nothing more than to play with her canine friends and be a part of a family. Ella is about 2 years old and came in as a stray by animal control. So a fenced yard would be a requirement. She is great with people and loves long walks. She is already spayed and up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Which means no waiting, she can go home today.
