Pets Of The Week
ESPAÑOLA — Each week the Valley Daily Post features a few pets that are ready for adoption. Take a look at this week’s highlighted pets and then drop by the shelter to see the whole selection.
Ginger is a playful and friendly girl. She’s a little mouthy when she gets excited, much like a puppy, but for the most part she minds her manners. She is about 2 years old and came to the shelter by animal control as a stray. She really enjoys activity and doesn’t mind other dogs. She would do best in a home without small children because she can be a little bit too much for them. A home with a large yard and maybe even another doggy friend to keep her company would be best of Ginger. Stop by and meet Ginger.
Toby is a lively boy who really wants to please and is working on his leash manners! He is about 1 year old and was left in our overnight drop box. He is looking for an owner who will be his best friend and if they have another doggie friend that will be a plus. He does have a bald patch on his left shoulder which might be mange even through the skin scrape came out negative. As a precaution we are treating anyway. Toby is such a sweetheart stop by and meet him.
