Pets Of The Week

Pets Of The Week
Week of May 11-17

ESPAÑOLA — Each week the Valley Daily Post features a few pets that are ready for adoption. Take a look at this weeks highlighted pets and then drop by the shelter to see the whole selection.

This week’s “Pets of the Week” from the Española Valley Humane Society are a special pair. The adoption charge for both Aqua-Lanna and Ally has been waived, with an approved adoption application.

AQUA-LANNA
Aqua-Lanna came in as stray at the end of April. She is a gorgeous 2 year old Labrador Retriever/Siberian Husky mix. She is very gentle and will be a very loyal dog to her adopter. She likes outdoor activity and is getting adjusted to a leash. Aqua-Lanna would be a great pet for a family of any energy level, and she would flourish in a home with a fenced in yard for play time. Any potential families interested in Aqua-Lanna that have other dogs, are encouraged to bring your dog to meet her. Her adoption fee is waived with an approved adoption application and the purchase of a six month supply of heartworm prevention for only $20.

ALLY
Ally was brought to our shelter when her owners moved and could no longer keep her. Ally was quite shy when she came in, although she is becoming more confident everyday and we are excited to find her a forever home. She responds to her name and enjoys affection, yet is not comfortable being picked up often. Ally is around 2 years of age, she has been spayed and micro-chipped,  and has received her vaccinations up until next may! Because Ally is over a year old, her adoption fee has been waived with an approved adoption application.
