ESPAÑOLA, N.M. — Each week the Valley Daily Post features a few pets that are ready for adoption at the Española Valley Humane Society. Take a look at this week’s highlighted pets and then drop by the shelter to see the whole selection.
Cattle dog lovers! Don’t miss this strawberry beauty with her green apple eyes. Lexie is four months old and an absolute doll. Pick this sweet one to be your furever friend! We are open every day from 10:30-5pm for adoptions – except Halloween! We will be closed October 31 for a clean up and staff appreciation event. Don’t forget that we offer absolutely free spay and neuter surgeries for pets; give our clinic a call at (505) 753-0228 to schedule an appointment.
Rosie is luxuriating in our charming Cat Corral at the Sunrise Springs Spa Resort in Santa Fe. She loves to play with toys and stretch out with her kitten pals on cozy beds or in a warm slice of sunshine. Rosie is nervous in new situations, but she has since blossomed since we placed her in the Cat Corral; all of the resort guests in our daily Catnip & Catnaps sessions have helped her bloom with confidence and trust. We have public adoption hours at the Cat Corral every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 1-4pm; book a spa treatment, treat yourself to lunch at the Blue Heron, take a dip in the pools, and then adopt Rosie! Her adoption fee is $45, which includes spay surgery, up to date vaccinations, microchip, and FeLV/FIV testing, but we will waive her fee if adopted with her best friend Pearl!
