Pets Of The Week
Week of July 22-29
ESPAÑOLA — Each week the Valley Daily Post features a few pets that are ready for adoption. The Española shelter is very busy this week as they are gearing up for the annual Kitten Fest this weekend in Santa Fe, where they are planning to adopt about 80 cats and kittens out!
In the meantime, take a look at this weeks highlighted pets and then drop by the shelter to see the whole selection
Millie is about seven months old and is very affectionate and playful. She loves to play with the other dogs here at the shelter and would be a great addition to a home with other dogs. She needs a home that would be willing to devote themselves to her training. Millie has already been spayed, micro-chipped, heartworm tested and vaccinated. Millie’s adoption fee is $25 and we require that her adopter purchase a six month supply of heartworm prevention during adoption for only $20.
Silwee Wabbit came in as an owner surrender, his owner could no longer care for him. Silwee Wabbit is an adult male that is pretty easy going and is used to be handled. His adoption fee is $10, which will include his neuter.

Come on in and meet Millie, Silwee Wabbit and some of the other wonderful pets available for adoption.
Also know that they are offering free spay/neuter and vaccinations during surgery are also free for residence of Rio Arriba county and they can call us to schedule those appointments.
