Pets Of The Week
ESPAÑOLA — Each week the Valley Daily Post features a few pets that are ready for adoption. Take a look at this week’s highlighted pets and then drop by the shelter to see the whole selection.
Ivan is a 2-year-old beautiful boy. Great on a leash and enjoys spending time with his people, getting affection and snuggles. Ivan is quite smart and trainable. If trained properly he would do great on a ranch: he is eager to learn. He loves getting treats for being a good boy and doing as told. He has done well with other dogs but a meet and greet is always a positive thing. Running and playing and head scratches, belly rubs is his kind of day. Stop by today and meet Ivan.
Miss Pickles is a wonderful dog with so many good qualities to share with her family. She loves belly rubs and spending time with her family. Walks with our volunteers are always a good time for her. She does wonderful on a leash. Car trips are okay with her too, she jumps right in your backseat and lays down for the ride. Our staff often enjoy taking her to lunch with them so she can get out of the shelter. Miss Pickles is house trained and doesn’t mind her crate or being left in a room while you’re out. She is nearly perfect but her one downfall is she does not like to share her family with other animals. Miss Pickles is the most loyal and dedicated dog you can ask. Her previous owner passed away shortly after adopting her. Family had to call animal control to pick her up because she would not let anyone near her master. So now she is starting over again. If you are looking for a best friend, Miss Pickles is waiting for you.
