Pets Of The Week
Week of July 6-12
ESPAÑOLA — Each week the Valley Daily Post features a few pets that are ready for adoption. Take a look at this weeks highlighted pets and then drop by the shelter to see the whole selection.
This week’s pets of the week are Margaret and Monchester.
Margaret is a 2 year old spayed Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier mix. Margaret is so eager to please everyone, and just loves receiving affection from our volunteers and staff. Margaret appears to have had no prior training, and she will need adopters that are committed to helping her be successful with training. She will be an amazing dog for a family, and she appears to like everyone she has meet here at the shelter. Margaret gets along with other dogs, but we do require a meet and greet if you are considering Margaret as a companion for your dog. Margaret’s adoption fee is waived, but we do require that a six month supply of heartworm prevention for $20.
Monchester is a very relaxed adult male cat, that loves the attention of the staff here at the shelter. He likes spending time with other cats, and would be a great addition to a home that already has cats or he would be just as well suited to be a family’s only cat. He is very playful and active, but would be happy to sit in your lap and watch your favorite television show with you too. Monchester will be neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped before he could go home to his new family. We are waiving Monchester’s adoption fee to a good home.
