Obituary: Raymond V. Sandoval of Jaconita
Raymond V. Sandoval, 70, a lifelong resident of Jaconita, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 following injuries sustained in a house fire. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margarito and Pablita Sandoval and half-sister, Eloisa Romero.
Raymond retired after many years of service through Zia Company and later Johnson Controls in Los Alamos. He was a carpenter and loved working with wood. He enjoyed making clocks out of cedar wood.
Mr. Sandoval is survived by his daughters, Raelynn Sandoval-Martinez and husband Cancum of Santa Fe, Valerie Sandoval-Wiseman and husband Rick and Sonya Sandoval-Valdez and husband Anthony of all of Salt Lake City, Utah; step-daughter, Michelle Martinez of Hernandez; sisters, Esther Sandoval of Los Alamos, Lucy Herrera of Jaconita and Ernestina Gonzales of Las Vegas, NM; brothers, Frank Sandoval of Las Vegas, NM and David Sandoval of Los Alamos; special niece, Sandra Herrera and son, Joseph Herrera both of Jaconita; 12 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
