Francisco V. Lovato “Cisco”
Francisco V. Lovato “Cisco”, 39, a resident of Rio Rancho formerly of Hernandez, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 3, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father, Isaac Dale Lovato; paternal grandparents, Raphael and Adela Lovato; maternal grandparents, Damian and Frances Pacheco and many other relatives.
Francisco enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his boys riding ATV’s, working on cars, doing projects around the house and relaxing with his animals. He was always willing to lend a helping hand no matter how busy he was. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.
Cisco is survived by his companion, Lisa Castañeda of Rio Rancho; sons, Andres and Noah Lovato, and Mario Lopez; daughter, Mariah Armijo; mother of his son Noah, Talia Ward; mother, Priscilla Lovato and longtime companion Leonard Lujan; brothers, Albert and Adam Lovato; sister, Shelly Lovato and companion Ray Lopez; nephew, Isaiah Guinn; niece, Azayliah Lopez and many other relatives and friends.
Public visitation was on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the San Jose Catholic Church in Hernandez with a burial at the San Jose Catholic Cemetery.
Serving the family as pallbearers are Albert Lovato, Ray Lopez, Harold Guinn, Onix Figueroa, Steve Maez, and Andrew Lopez. Honorary pallbearers will be Andres, Noah, Mario and Isaiah.

Everett Baca, 37, a resident of Española, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 5, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerardo Vanchaik and Benny (Baca) Zapata; and his son Paul Maez.
Everett had a great love for family and enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his father, Manuel Zapata of Española; sisters, Margarita Zapata (Felipe Robles) of Carlsbad, and Sylvia Zapata (Jorge Bustamante) of Española; nieces, Monica Robles of Carlsbad and Destiny Zapata of Española; nephews, Felipe Robles Jr. of Carlsbad and Jose Bustamante of Española.
A memorial mass was celebrated on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the burial to follow at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. The family of Everett Baca has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
