New Mexico Congressional Delegation Reacts to Paris Attacks

Statements from the New Mexico Congressional Delegation on Friday night’s terror attacks in Paris, France.

Senator Martin Heinrich Statement

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Nov. 13, 2015) – U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) released the following statement on the terrorist attacks in Paris:

“The terrorist attacks unfolding in Paris are unconscionable. Those grieving and trying to fathom the horror of this tragedy are not alone tonight. America stands with the people of Paris and all of France. ​​We stand united in combating terrorism and protecting our shared values of freedom and democracy. My prayers go out to the loved ones of those who lost their lives. Nous sommes avec la France.”

Congressman Ben Ray Lujan Statement

Santa Fe, NM – Congressman Ben Ray Luján released the following statement on the terrorist attacks in Paris, France.

“My heart goes out to the people of Paris following these horrific acts of violence that have shocked the conscience of the world.  We stand in solidarity with the people of France during this painful time, and my thoughts and prayers are with all those who are grieving for family, friends, and fellow countrymen and women who were killed or injured in these terrible attacks.”
