NCRTD to temporarily modify six RTD Blue Bus Routes:

Includes combining Santa Clara, Tesuque and San Ildefonso routes

While continuing to provide essential service during the COVID-19 outbreak, the North Central Regional Transit District has identified six RTD Blue Bus routes that will be temporarily modified beginning November 16.

The changes will impact the 400 Los Alamos, 180 El Rito and 360 Tres Piedras routes. Additionally, the 160 Santa Clara, 220 Tesuque and 230 San Ildefonso routes will be combined into one route.

The combined route will provide four roundtrips each day, Monday through Friday, between the Española Transit Center and the Santa Fe Indian Hospital. The bus will include stops at Santa Clara, San Ildefonso and Tesuque Pueblos as well as Cities of Gold Park & Ride lot, downtown Santa Fe and South Capitol Station, among others. A complete schedule and route map can be found at www.RidetheBlueBus.com

The 400 Los Alamos and 180 El Rito routes will each operate on a demand request ride basis from 8AM to 5PM Monday through Friday. Riders on these routes needing service can call at least 24 hours in advance to schedule pickup and return. The scheduled ride will only provide for pickups and drop-offs at designated RTD bus stops along the existing route.

The 360 Tres Piedras route which operates Wednesdays between Tres Piedras and Town of Taos will now require reservations to ride due to the limited seating.

All routes are fare-free. Reservations and scheduling for demand service can be made by calling 505-629-4725, ext. 2. All changes are temporary and will be in effect until further notice. Full details can be found at: www.RidetheBlueBus.com

Face coverings continue to be mandatory in order to board the bus and must remain on for the duration of the ride. Also, seating is limited due to social distancing and the State order restricting groups to five or less.

The NCRTD continues to take aggressive measures to clean and disinfect passenger vehicles. The District’s top priorities are to continue service to the public, and to keep them and our employees healthy and safe. The District asks that anyone experiencing flu symptoms refrain from boarding its vehicles. Thank you for partnering with us to help prevent the spread of any germs and flu.
