Moving Arts Española held a community celebration Friday to recognize Artistic Director & Co-Founder Roger Montoya’s nomination as a CNN Hero. Community members and city, county and state elected officials shared their stories about Moving Arts and Montoya.

Consider supporting Roger and Moving Arts Española by “Liking”, “Commenting”, and “Sharing” Moving Arts’ posts across social media including Facebook (@MovingArts.org), Twitter (@MovingArtsKids), and Instagram (@MovingArtsEspañola); share the CNN videos with your friends, families, and coworkers by email; or donate to Moving Arts through its Crowdrise page.

CNN encourages and urges its CNN Heroes to make the most of their recognition and their local organizations maximizing their distinction as a helpful tool to build local support and awareness through social media and Crowdrise. The Top 10 Heroes selection is made internally by CNN, and none of these actions are factors in making that selection. If chosen for the top 10, there is a public vote during which anyone can vote for their top CNN Hero. The person with the most votes is named CNN Hero of the Year.
