Movement Of Large Military Aircraft To Occur On New Mexico Roads

SANTA FE – The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) has announced that the movement of a large, oversized load consisting of a military aircraft will move through the state starting this weekend and ending on Monday.
The oversized load will travel through five of New Mexico’s six transportation districts. The move is being coordinated by NMDOT with the New Mexico State Police accompanying the movement throughout the state at all times.

Overnight travel of the load has been arranged, however motorists should be advised that this move is taking place and delays may occur.
Movement schedule with approximate times:
- March 4 – Depart Gallup at 10 p.m.;
- March 5 – Arrive Moriarty at 5 a.m.;
- March 5 – Depart Moriarty at 10 p.m.;
- March 6 – Arrive Roswell at 5 a.m.; and
- March 6 – Depart Roswell at 10 p.m. for Hobbs.
