Kiwanis Club Holding Event To Benefit Rio Arriba Independent Libraries

Los Alamos – The Los Alamos Kiwanis Club is presenting a Books and Breakfast event to support Rio Arriba Independent Libraries (RAIL) including:
  • Embudo Valley;
  • Truchas Public Library;
  • El Rito Public Library; and
  • Pueblo de Abiquiu.

Books and Breakfast is 7-11 a.m. Saturday, May 2 at Betty Ehart Senior Center in Los Alamos. Sparky the Fire Dog will be at the breakfast to mingle with diners.

The Los Alamos Kiwanis Club is providing the breakfast free to the public in exchange for donations of books or cash to support RAIL.

Needed are books for all ages, new or used books on any topic suitable for a public library.
