Implementation of Road Settlement Agreements
Public Webex Meeting on Thursday, October 1, 2020, at 6:00 p.m.
Santa Fe County staff will be hosting a public Webex meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2020, to discuss implementation of the Road Settlement Agreements with the Pueblos of Nambe, Pojoaque, Tesuque, and San Ildefonso and United States Department of Interior concerning County-maintained roads within those Pueblos.
What is the purpose of the meeting? To update the public on the implementation of the Road Settlement Agreements, generally, and the interim permits to be issued by the Pueblo de San Ildefonso, specifically.
What are the San Ildefonso interim permits? The San Ildefonso interim permits will implement Section 9 and other sections of the Settlement Agreement between the County and Pueblo de San Ildefonso. They will provide interim access to private landowners from, and permit the County’s maintenance rights with regard to, the County-maintained roads that are the subject of the Settlement Agreement.
Where can I find the San Ildefonso interim permits? They are available under Interim Permits from Pueblo de San Ildefonso on the County’s Road Settlement Agreements webpage, https://www.santafecountynm.
When will the Board of County Commissioners consider the San Ildefonso interim permits? At its October 13, 2020, regular meeting.
