Golfers Gathering For Holy Cross School Tournament

ESPAÑOLA — The Holy Cross Catholic School announced that their first ever fundraiser golf tournament is scheduled to take place Saturday, April 18, at the Black Mesa golf course.

Participants have big opportunities to walk away with prizes at this “first annual” event. Prizes are to be awarded to the first, second, and third place teams, plus players can win a new car by scoring a hole-in-one.

The rules call for a Best Ball Scramble with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Teams may have up to four players and the entry fee is $100 per player.

Proceeds from this tournament are slated to go to benefit students at the Holy Cross Catholic School, a parochial grade school in Santa Cruz.

People seeking more information or wishing to reserve a spot may call Ernest Salazar at 927-9240.
