The Espanola Valley Farmers Market held its first market of the 2019 season June 3 on Railroad Avenue. Produce for sale included assorted greens, peas, radishes and carrots. Honey, lamb meat, chicos and other products were also on sale. The Market is held Mondays from 10 a.m to 5 p.m. The Market will be open until the end of October. The Espanola Valley Farmers Market was honored as Farmers Market of the Year January 24, 2019 at Food and Farms Day at the New Mexico State Capital.
