Española Humane Pets Of The Week

ESPAÑOLA, N.M. — Each week the Valley Daily Post features a few pets that are ready for adoption at the Española Valley Humane Society. Take a look at this week’s highlighted pets and then drop by the shelter to see the whole selection.

Melody is a majestic, magnificent madam in room full of male machismo. She says, “Please, take me to your home throne, away from these beastly boys and their constant ruckus.” Melody is a love – quick to purr and nestle in your lap, but she prefers to distance herself from the near constant playing of the six wild boys wrestling their way around our Cat Corral at Sunrise Springs Spa Resort. She is spayed, UTD on vaccines and dewormer, FeLV negative, and ready to find her purrfect furever. Both our Cat Corral and our Puppy Patch at Santa Fe’s Sunrise Springs are open seven days per week to the public for adoptions from 1-4pm, no appointment necessary!

Brindles are our weakness! Swoon! Chiquita is a calm and loving little doodlebug; she always wants to nap in a lap, she plays gently with toys, and oh boy would she ever love to be your forever girl! She is working on housetraining and basic manners, has been socialized to adults and kids, big dogs and little dogs, cats and even chickens! Chiquita is available from our offsite adoption facility, the Puppy Patch at Santa Fe’s Sunrise Springs Spa Resort! Our Puppy Patch is open to the public for adoptions seven days per week from 1-4pm.
