Espanola Humane Pets Of The Week

ESPAÑOLA, N.M. — Each week the Valley Daily Post features a few pets that are ready for adoption at the Española Humane. Take a look at this week’s highlighted pets and then drop by the shelter to see the whole selection.

Bubba Wallace isn’t a professional NASCAR driver, but he did arrive with a brain injury after being inadvertently tossed around in the back of a moving truck. He has recovered his mojo, but unfortunately he tested positive for FeLV. This sweet boy won’t let anything slow him down – not a concussion, not feline leukemia. He’s happy and healthy, and should live a life indoors in an FeLV+ home or be your only kitty. Give Bubba Wallace a home to zip around and around forever!

Pinky is one of eight heirloom wrinklepiglets sprouted in our recently reopened Puppy Patch at Ojo Santa Fe! Just kidding, she’s a sharpei mix – spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home with six months of heartworm prevention! Like shelter operations, the Puppy Patch is closed to walk-in traffic and open for public adoptions by appointment only. Applications for puppies from the Patch can be found on our website.
