Espanola Humane Pets Of The Week

ESPAÑOLA, N.M. — Each week the Valley Daily Post features a few pets that are ready for adoption at the Española Humane. Take a look at this week’s highlighted pets and then drop by the shelter to see the whole selection.

Santana is a staff favorite. She has strabismus, which causes her eyes to cross – we aren’t sure what caused this condition, but it doesn’t bother her, and it only makes her more endearing. Santana is sweetness squared: she’s a gentle chocolate lab mix with the most fabulous feathered fur on her back, like Heather Locklear in the 80’s. Submit an application for this rock star of a dog – she’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, and goes home with six months of heartworm prevention! Submit an application on our website and our team will contact you to schedule a meet and greet appointment.

Luna is a full lunar eclipse of love! This sweet kissable smoochy-face purrball is fresh from foster care, and she’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home furever! You can apply for Luna on our website and our team will be in touch to schedule an appointment. Thank you for adopting!
