Email Marketing Workshop Dec. 1
At the heart of small business marketing are the campaigns that drive actioncollections of marketing activities that help a small business or organization achieve its goals and objectives. Email newsletters and announcements have become a core component of those campaign choices. Email is more important than ever to the communication efforts of businesses and nonprofits everywhere and to the customer, donor, client, or supporter of those organizations. This workshop will reveal some simple but effective best practices and considerations for the small business or nonprofit seeking to make their email newsletters and announcements more effective and integrating social media into these activities.
Presenter: Lynne Marcus, is the President of Marcus + Company, a marketing and communications firm that creates effective online marketing programs, including e-mail and social media marketing, to help clients engage with their customers to build visibility and sales for their products and services. She has a wide range of marketing communications experience. During her career, she has received awards for her work from the Direct Mail Marketing Association, the Society for Technical Communication, Boston Chapter, the Boston Design Show, the Miehle Corporation Superb Printing Show, and NAWBO Northern New Mexico. She has held the position of lecturer at the Boston University College of Communications graduate school. She received her MBA with honors from Boston University and her BA from Goucher College. Lynne is a Constant Contact solution provider and local expert.
