Early Voting Begins Saturday

Early voting opens in each New Mexico county beginning Saturday, October 20, 2018 and continue through Saturday, November 3, 2018. Check locations and hours of operation by visiting NMVote.org or by contacting your County Clerk’s Office.

In person and absentee voting has been underway at county clerk’s offices since Oct. 9. Early voting expands locations and hours of operation.

Turnout during absentee ballot voting has been low in Rio Arriba County. According to Thursday’s Voter Turnout Report from Secretary of State Maggie Toulouse Oliver’s office, only 53 Democrats, four Decline to State and 22 Republicans had voted as of Wednesday. In contrast, 2128 Democrats, 358 Decline to State, six Libertarians, seven “Other” and 239 Republicans had cast a ballot.
