Eagles Win Two At Home

The Eagles picked up two wins over the weekend, defeating Rhema Bible College 103-88 and West Coast Baptist 88-61. This was the first time the Eagles played a home game since October. “It was great to be back on our home floor for a change, it allowed our guys to rest and to prepare for the remainder of the season” Ryan Cordova stated.  “Being in the Independent Conference it is difficult because of all the travel we are forced to do for the year. We do not have the comfort that a traditional conference brings with the guaranteed home games. However, it prepares us for Conference and National Tournaments”
The Eagles are 8-9 on the year, and have their first A.I.I. (Association of Independent Institutions) Conference game this Friday (1/22/16) at home against Central Christian College. Central Christian is 13-3 for the year and ranks towards the top of the A.I.I. This will be a huge test for Northern, as they cannot afford to lose any of the few A.I.I. games they play.
Tipoff time for Friday is 7:00PM at the Eagle Memorial Gymnasium, tickets are available now and at the gate.
