Del Norte Credit Union Issues Statement For Customers Amid COVID-19 Disease Pandemic

In recent weeks, outbreaks of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic have become a public health concern. DNCU will always take the appropriate and proactive steps to help our employees, our members, and our communities.

According to The Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the immediate risk of being exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19 continues to be low. We know that the virus spreads much like the flu does. In an effort to curb the spread of germs, all of our locations are cleaned regularly and are disinfected with approved cleaners.

We are asking our employees and members to practice caution when in public places and follow the basic practices below:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean your workspaces or other high-traffic areas in your home and office.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
