Community Survey on behalf of the NM Office of Substance Abuse Prevention
ESPAÑOLA — The Northern Rio Arriba Communities Health Coalition (NRACHC) and North Central Community Based Services (NCCBS) will be conducting a community survey in northern Rio Arriba County on behalf of the NM Office of Substance Abuse Prevention (NM OSAP).
New Mexico is among the highest in the country for risky alcohol and drug use and their related health consequences. The survey asks about prevention efforts in your community, your perceptions and attitudes about drinking and driving, other drug use, and mental health. Responses are voluntary and completely anonymous. NM OSAP will use the findings from this survey to determine substance abuse prevention and treatment needs across the state of New Mexico. The NRACHC and NCCBS will use the data to identify the specific substance abuse prevention needs in northern Rio Arriba County.
We appreciate your taking the time to take this survey when contacted by a member of your community. The more New Mexico residents who complete the survey, the better NM OSAP can respond to the problems and areas of most concern. For additional information on the survey and it’s administration in northern Rio Arriba County please contact NCCBS at 575-756-2327.
