Camel Rock Has Lost Its Mouth
Submitted by Carol A. Clark
Camel Rock, the iconic rock formation south of Tesuque has been permanently changed when the “mouth” section fell off recently.
The loss of the mouth or lips of Camel Rock was apparently the result of natural erosion. The world famous landmark is visible along the highway north of Santa Fe on U.S. Route 84/285 between Pojoaque and Tesuque.
