Agriculture Co-Op Info Meeting & Business After Hours Thursday
Local farmers or anyone interested in creating a Farmers Co-op in the Espanola Valley are invited to attend the second Workshop hosted by the Rocky Mountains Farmers Union on Thursday March 30 at 3 p.m. At the Mision y Convento on the Plaza.
Local agricultural producers such as ranchers and farmers, or anyone who is interested in local agriculture is invited to attend and hear about the advantages and steps to creating a local agriculture co-op to help local agricultural businesses thrive. Susan Mikkelson, Co-op development specialist will be the special guest speaker talking about demystifying the cooperative process. The event runs from 3 to 5 p.m. On March 30 and will be held at the Plaza’s Mision y Convento.
Immediately following the co-op meeting, the Chamber will be hosting a Business After Hours event for fun and socializing at the Blue Heron Micro Brewery, right next door to the Convento.
